Junior Varsity & Smurf Football & Cheer Recruitment & Registration help

Last night at the board meeting held after family fun day, registration numbers were discussed for our Junior Varsity (ages 7-9) and Smurf (ages 5-7) programs for both football and cheer. While we do have enough athletes to create a team, the numbers are very low. Options were discussed by board members, coaches, and parents in attendance to help families who may want to register their child but because of the cost of every day living right now, may not be able to afford a recreational activity for their child. Below are several options, if you know of a family who would like to register, please forward this information to them. If you have already registered, and would like to take advantage of one of the options, please reach out to [email protected].

The options below are available for our SMURF & JV Programs:

Option One: (For players not yet registered)
Register your player today, at no cost. Register online at www.myfcl.org, at checkout, reach out to [email protected], letting us know you are using option one. In place of a registration fee, you will sell 6 more fundraising tickets in addition to your required amount.
Option Two: (For players already registered)
As a player who is already registered and paid, you may stay the same- no change OR, you may email [email protected] for a registration refund, letting us know you will be choosing option two, and in place of that registration fee, you will sell 6 more fundraising tickets in addition to your required amount.
Option Three: (For players either registered or not yet registered)
As a player who is already registered and paid, you may stay the same- no change OR, you may email [email protected] for a registration refund, letting us know you will be choosing option 3 and in place of that registration fee, will be required to work 3 more volunteer positions in addition to the 4 required.
For those not registered: Register your player today, at no cost. Register online at www.myfcl.org, at checkout, reach out to [email protected], letting us know you are using option three. In place of a registration fee, you will be require to work 3 more volunteer positions in addition to the 4 required.
Remember- anyone can help you work your shifts - Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Friends, Neighbors!

We are adding a Registration sponsorship to our corporate sponsor letters, this does not need to be a business that sponsors! If you, or anyone you know would be interested in sponsoring registration fees for a family, please reach out by contacting us at: [email protected]

Our goal at MYFCL is for every child to be on the field playing football, or cheerleading, if lack of funds is holding you back, please reach out. Take advantage of the above options.

I forgot to mention during the parents meeting yesterday, the MYFCL draw area consists of not only the Tuscarora School district, but also Fulton County, Clear Spring, and Path Valley area! Reach out to your friends and family and pass this information along!
